Training and internships: sharing the expertise

Thanks to its many contacts with the individuals it supports, Cactus Montreal has acquired a unique expertise which it constantly shares with the persons who study addiction or work with addicted people. Highly solicited, Cactus welcomes every year – as interns in training – college or university level students, generally in social sciences, from Quebec as well as abroad.

Cactus also receives interns from health and social services. By facilitating the direct involvement of these students in a real environment, Cactus wants to help familiarise future professionals with the realities that affect marginalised people.
